Alternative Touch started with one simple thought: I wanted to create.
For the longest time, I kept waiting for everything to be perfect. The perfect idea. The perfect design. The perfect moment to begin.
Eventually, I realized that perfection doesn't help you start, it keeps you waiting.
So I stopped waiting.
I chose to begin before I had everything figured out, trusting that I'd learn, improve, and grow along the way.
That's where my tagline, Crafting Chaos With Crochet, comes from.
Because creativity is rarely perfect.
It's messy. It's experimenting, making mistakes, changing your mind, unraveling stitches, starting over, and discovering something even better than what you first imagined.
Alternative Touch was born from that chaos.
But it was also born from wanting a space where I didn't have to fit into anyone else's idea of what crochet or creativity should look like.
I've always been drawn to the bold, the unconventional, and the things that don't quite fit into a box. The ideas in my head weren't always what people expected, and instead of trying to make them fit, I decided to build a place where they didn't have to.
Alternative Touch is that place.
A place where I can explore, experiment, and bring the ideas in my imagination to life without worrying whether they're too different or too unconventional.
This isn't just about making handmade pieces.
It's about creating work that feels honest. About embracing curiosity over perfection. About making things because they deserve to exist, not because they fit a trend or someone's expectations.
