Hi, I’m Surabhi — Founder & Designer of Alternative Touch.
Alternative Touch is an independent alternative fashion brand creating handcrafted wearable art. Every piece is designed and made in India, where thread, texture, and craftsmanship come together to create bold, romantic, and edgy designs through crochet.
Inspired as a child by my grandmother’s artistry with yarn, I discovered crochet at an early age. What began as curiosity gradually evolved into an obsession with texture, construction, and design. Over time, crochet became more than a craft, it became my way of exploring ideas, emotion, and self expression.
Today, Alternative Touch explores the space between softness and rebellion. Each piece is created slowly by hand, embracing detail, individuality, and the beauty of something that cannot be replicated by machines.
